This guide explains how personalisation works, what options are available, and what to check before placing your order to ensure the best possible result.
How Personalisation Works
Ordering your personalised keepsake is simple.

Choose your favourite Bloom 88 product.
Step 2
Select your garment colour, size and any available product options.
Step 3
Enter your personalisation exactly as you would like it embroidered.
Step 4
Carefully review all names, spelling, dates and personalisation details before completing your order.
Step 5
We'll prepare your design, embroider your keepsake, complete a final quality check and carefully package your order before dispatch.

Names, Initials & Dates
Your personalisation will be embroidered exactly as entered during checkout.
Please carefully check:
- Spelling
- Capital letters
- Dates
- Initials
- Punctuation
- Spaces
As every keepsake is made especially for you, changes may not be possible once production has begun.
Roman Numerals
Roman numerals are a timeless way to commemorate life's special moments.
Popular occasions include:

Please ensure your date is entered correctly.
Where available, we'll convert standard dates into Roman numerals for you.
Fonts
Each product has carefully selected font options that best suit its design.
Where multiple fonts are available, you can choose your preferred style from the options shown on the product page.
If no font is selected, the default font shown in the product listing will be used.
Thread Colours
Thread colours are selected to complement each garment colour and design.
Where multiple thread colours are available, simply choose your preferred option before checkout.
If a product includes only one thread colour, the colour shown in the listing will be used.
Please note that colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.
Embroidery Placement
Embroidery placement varies depending on the product.
Common placement options include:
- Left chest
- Centre chest
- Sleeve cuff
- Neckline
Please refer to each product page for the placement available.
Where placement is shown in the product images, embroidery will be positioned as closely as possible to the example.
As every item is embroidered individually, slight variations in placement may occur.
Signature Portrait Embroidery
Transform a meaningful photograph into a timeless embroidered keepsake.
Our Signature Portrait Embroidery collection features custom minimal line art, individually digitised from your photograph before being stitched onto your chosen garment or keepsake.
For the best results, please upload a clear, high-quality photograph that:
- Has good lighting.
- Is sharp and in focus.
- Clearly shows the people you would like embroidered.
- Is not heavily filtered or low resolution.
Complex backgrounds may be simplified or removed to create the clean, timeless embroidery style Bloom 88 is known for.
Selected portrait products include a design proof before embroidery begins.
Design Proofs
Some Bloom 88 products include a design proof before production.
Where a proof is included, this will be clearly stated in the product description.
Please carefully review all names, spelling, dates, placement and design details before approving your proof.
Once a proof has been approved and production has begun, changes may no longer be possible.
